What We Believe

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons.

We believe in the Father, the head of the triune nature of God.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, equal with God the Father. He lived on earth as fully God, fully man. Christ was the promised Messiah described in the prophecies of the Old Testament, and he is the one and only fulfillment of man’s redemption and reunion with God the Father. Through him, all of creation came to be. He lived, died, descended into Hades, resurrected, then ascended into Heaven all to restore our relationship with him and conquer all death forever, giving us the hope of his return and ultimate reign on earth.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity. In accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, and surrendering our lives to him, the Holy Spirit then enters our lives as our counsel, guide, comfort, and conscience. To be born again in him is the only way to receive salvation in Christ, and live eternally in Heaven in a complete relationship with God the Father.

We believe in the church as the body of believers, united not by denomination or congregation, but by the commonality found in the belief of the cardinal doctrines of Jesus Christ and the love and commitment to God’s holy written Word.

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. Though written by human hands, it was God-breathed, its truth preserved and protected through the ages and forevermore.
